Capt. Grant Livingstone
Grant Livingstone graduated from the California Maritime Academy 1980, Unlimited Third Mate, with a B.S. in Nautical Industrial Technology and an emphasis in Naval Architecture. Capt. Livingstone has 30 years of continuous sea experience with an emphasis on piloting. Capt. Livingstone has been a pilot in the ports of Los Angeles and Long beach for 20 years. Professional engagements have included working with Marine Safety International as a Pilot/Tug Master training facilitator on various projects including Costa Azul, Mexico LNG marine terminal and Lake Charles, Louisiana LNG marine terminal.

Livingstone has 30 years of continuous sea experience sailing a variety of vessels with an emphasis on tugboats. Capt. Livingstone holds licenses as Master of Towing Vessels, Oceans; 1st Class Pilot endorsement for the Ports of Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbors and 1st Class Pilot endorsement for San Francisco Bay and Tributaries. He is presently a San Francisco Bar Pilot following 15 years as master for Sause Brothers Ocean Towing, Inc.
